Rules
- A league teams are permitted one ex-varsity player on their team. B leagues are not permitted any ex-varsity players on their team.
- Teams must have five players to play.
- All rules and scoring will follow those of NBA basketball except where stated.
- Substitution is allowed on a dead ball.
- There will be two (2), twenty (20) minute halves.
- The clock will run at all times except for timeouts and free throws after one minute remaining in the halves.
- The offensive team has forty-five (45) seconds to shoot and hit the rim or they lose possession and during a free throw the offensive player has ten (10) seconds to shoot.
- If both teams are tied at the end of the second half there will be one five (5) minute overtime period. Overtime periods will be repeated until there is a winner.
- For a jump ball situation, alternate possession will be in place.
Greek Rules for Fraternity vs. Sorority
Girls are allowed to have 6 players on the court instead of 5
Girls receive 4 points behind the arc, 3 inside the arc excluding the paint, and 2 in the paint.
Boys receive 3 behind the arc, 2 inside the arc excluding the paint, and 1 in the paint.
Boys may not steal the ball from the ball handler. Doing so results in possession being returned to the girls.
Boys may intercept passes from one player two another. (This was a source of discrepancy Sunday.)
Boys may not block shots. Doing so results in possession being returned to the girls.
