Stevens Intramural Sports
Eligibility |
 |
Leagues | Special Events | Eligibility | Rules
- Any undergraduate, graduate student, staff or faculty member is eligible for competition
- Any varsity athlete that has participated in a varsity sport or practiced with a varsity team may not participate in that sport. Ex: A person that has dressed for one varsity basketball game is ineligible to participate in the intramural basketball league. This would also apply to transfer students that may have played on varsity teams at another institution. Former varsity athletes are still considered varsity players and may not compete. However, that person may participate in other intramural activities not related to basketball.
- Participants may only compete on one team only. The first team a player signs up to play for is the only team they may represent. However, you are permitted to play for a men's team and a co-rec team if they are separate divisions. In addition, Greek Council participants may compete in the comparable independent league at the same time.
- The IM staff members may either waive or modify rules when it can be demonstrated that such rules would restrict the right of the individual to participate in any unreasonable or unfair manner.
