Rules
- A team must have a minimum of four (4) players to play and shall not have more than five (5) players on the field at one time.
- The game consists of two (2) 20-minute halves.
- There is a continuous clock except for the remaining one minute in each half. The clock will stop during the final minute for:
- An out of bounds ball.
- After a goal the clock will stop and then restart after kickoff.
- Injuries.
- There are no time-outs.
- A goalie will not be allowed to use his hands to block a shot except for:
- crossing his hands across his chest or across his face to stop a shot. The hands must be with clenched fists and tightly held against the body. The hands may not make a forward motion away from the body.
- A goal will be awarded if a goalie uses his hands to stop a shot on goal.
- The ball is considered dead if:
- It hits the ceiling or netting.
- Is kicked into the side of the goal. The last team that kicked the ball loses possession.
- No slide tackles. If a player slide tackles, he will be ejected from the game.
- There are no penalty kicks or direct kicks on the goalie after a dead ball.
- No goal can be scored from beyond midfield.
- If a player is ejected, he will be suspended for the next game. If he/she was ejected for a slide tackle, no suspension is given.
- A team may substitute on the fly.
- Overtime will be five minute sudden death periods. If the game is still tied after one overtime period, the game ends in a draw.
- Only one ex varsity player may be present on the field at a time.
