Rules

  1. Every team is allowed four players on the playing surface and a minimum of three players.
  2. To receive a point the catcher must catch the Frisbee while either a foot is in the end zone or if the catcher is in the air, they must land with at least one foot in the end zone. If a player runs into the end zone due to momentum, then the player must step out of the end zone in order to throw to someone in the end zone.
  3. The thrower cannot move their pivot foot, and they cannot jump.
  4. The catcher can only take two steps after the catch.
  5. Only one person can cover the thrower. They must stay far enough away so that the thrower cannot touch them with the Frisbee. The marker counts 7 (one thousand). If the thrower doesn't throw in this period of time, then it is a turnover. Someone cannot replace the marker and resume their count.
  6. If the Frisbee hits the ground, then it is a turnover.
  7. There are Two 20 minute halves which are on running time. Each team is permitted One 1 minute timeout per half. If time is up and the score is tied, a five minute sudden death period will be played.
  8. Penalties - There is no physical contact. No penalties (unless it is a malicious act). If an infraction is committed, the players will rectify it, and resume play.
  9. Time - There are two 20 minute halves which are on running time. Each team is permitted one 1 minute timeout per half. If time is up and the score is tied, a five minute sudden death period will be played.
