Last weekend, the team raced in the Dartmouth / UNH event. Nicole Orgrosso raced in Womens C and did fairly well, especially in the crit on Sunday where she placed 17th out of 33 racers. Gabby Czernik raced her first race of the season in Womens Intro and did quite well all weekend, even placing 2nd in the ITT on Saturday. Nick Walulik did very well in Mens B this weekend, placing 5th on Sunday in the crit out of over 50 racers. Isaac Spingarn, Aaron Perelman, and Ray Junkins raced in Mens C, with Isaac and Aaron both finishing in the top 20 racers in the crit on Sunday. Dylan Hutchison raced in Mens D and did fairly well. Overall, the Stevens team placed 21st out of 27 teams on Saturday and 11th out of 28 teams on Sunday.

| April 9-10, 2011, New Haven, CT - Yale Race Weekend |
On April 9th and 10th, the Stevens Cycling team raced in New Haven, CT for the Yale Race Weekend. Nicole Orgrosso and LJ Sneider raced in the Womens C events, with Nicole doing very well in the criterium race on Sunday, coming in 19th place out of 35 racers. Isaac Spingarn and Mark Hamilton raced together in Mens C, with Mark scoring a place in the top ten racers in the crit and Isaac in the top 20. Patrick Hammer raced in Mens D, also doing well in the crit, coming in 10th place out of 36 racers.

Only 4 people were available to race up in Boston this past weekend. Nick Walulik, Isaac Spingarn, and Aaron Perelman fielded a team in the Mens B team time trial and got 5th place out of 12 teams. Nicole Orgrosso raced in the individual time trial and placed 28th of out 32 people. On Sunday, Nick raced in the Mens B crit and place 32nd out of 58 racers. Isaac and Aaron raced in the Mens C crit, Aaron placed 7th while Isaac was unable to finish due to a mechanical problem. Nicole raced in the Womens C crit and placed 25th out of 38 racers. Overall, Stevens placed 25th out of the 30 schools at the event.

March 25-26, 2011, Troy, NY - RPI Race Weekend
|
Last weekend the Stevens team raced in Troy, NY for the RPI Race Weekend. The team scored 20th place out of 30 teams overall in what has been the coldest race thus far this season. Nicole Orgrosso and LJ Sneider raced in Womens C this weekend and each did fairly well. Nick Walulik raced in Mens B and won points for the team in the crit on Sunday. Isaac Spingarn and Aaron Perelman raced in Mens C, each scoring points for the team in the time trial and the crit. Mark Hamilton, Dylan Hoffman, and Dylan Hutchinson raced in Mens D and all did fairly well, with Mark winning points for the team in both the circuit and the crit. Patrick Hammer raced his first race in Mens Intro and placed consistently in the top 3 all weekend; consequently he will be moving up to Mens D next weekend.

This past weekend the Stevens Cycling Team raced in Philadelphia, PA. The team fielded 3 teams in the Team Time Trial event. Nicole Orgrosso and Jamie Brabston finished 6th out of 9 teams in the Womens C time trial, winning 14 points for the team. Aaron Perelman, Mark Hamilton, and Isaac Spingarn raced in the Mens C team time trial and placed 17th out of 19 teams, and Dylan Hutchinson and Dylan Hoffman raced in the Mens Intro division and placed 1st out of 4 teams, winning 15 points. in the circuit race, Jamie placed second and Nicole placed 27th out of 34 racers in Womens C. Aaron placed first in the Mens D circuit while Mark placed 9th, with both of them winning points for the team. Isaac placed 12th in Mens C and Nick Walulik placed 25th out of 50 racers in Mens B. Dylan Hutchinson did not finish the Mens Intro circuit due to a mechanical error, while Dylan Hoffman placed 12th out of 25 racers. In the crit, all of the Stevens team did well. Most notably, Jamie finished 7th out of 28 racers in Womens C, and Aaron finshed 2nd out of 28 racers in Mens D. Overall, Stevens finished in 16th place out of the 35 teams that competed this past weekend.

Last Saturday, the Stevens Team raced at Columbia University's criterium at Grant's Tomb. Unfortunately, the Stevens race that was to be held the next day was canceled due to severe flooding in Sussex County. At the crit, Nick Walulik raced in Mens B and came in 5th place, winning a large round of points for both himself and the team. Isaac Spingarn raced well in Mens C, coming in 44th out of about 60 racers. Aaron Perelman and Mark Hamilton both raced in Mens D. Aaron got 6th in the race, and Mark did well until around the last lap when a mechanical error with his bike forced him to quit the race. Dylan Hutchinson raced in the Mens Intro category, winning 11th place out of 23 racers. Nicole Orgrosso and LJ raced in Womens Intro, coming in at 9th and 10th place respectively out of 12 racers. Jamie Brabston raced in the Womens C category and did very well, winning 2nd place out of 30 racers. Overall the Stevens team took 14th place out of 30 teams in the event.

This past weekend, the Stevens Cycling team placed 23rd out of the overall 35 teams that they competed against at Rutgers. Nick Walulik placed in the top 20 in all three events in the Mens B category. Anastacio Perez only raced in two out of the three races and did fairly well in the Mens C category. Aaron Perelman, Isaac Spingarn, and Mark Hamilton raced in the Mens D category and all did quite well, with Isaac placing in the top 10 in each race and Aaron placing in the top 10 in 2 out of the 3 races. Dylan Hutchinson and Dylan Hoffman raced in the Mens Intro category and did quite well. Jamie Brabston raced in the Womens Intro category and placed in the top 3 in each race, consequently she will be moving up to the Womens C category next weekend.
