The Women's Bowling Team made a remarkable leap forward last weekend, February 4th at the Mardi-Bob bowling tournament in Poughkipsee, NY, as they claimed second place overall in the women's division. The combined showing of Melissa Indoe, Diane Bruzzese, Kaitlyn Halloran, and Sarah McDonald were able to fight the odds and bowl a combined score all around pinfall of 2910 over 6 games. As the last tournament of the regular season, the girls were able to finish on a strong note, and hope to continue that charisma in future tournaments.

The Shippensburg classic turned out good for the Stevens Women's Bowling Team. Diane Bruzzese came in 11th with a total pin fall of 769. Following her was Melissa Indoe coming in 13th with a total pin fall of 667. Sarah Mcdonald, Marissa Liberaki, and Galyna Bartkiv all came in 19-21st. The team all together got 4th place. We hope to continue to do well in January at our next tournament.

This weekend the Women's team competed in the Pennsylvania Classic. They placed 7th out of 7 teams overall with 9 games and 6 baker games. Sarah McDonlad had the highest series for the team with 1148 pin fall and came in 24th. Marissa Liberacki had the second highest series of the team with 1091 pin fall and came in 28th. Galyna Bartkiv has a series of 1018, Kaitlyn Halloran had a series of 1017, and Alica Welden had a series of 990. They had a high score of 165 during bakers games. Kaitlyn Halloran and Marissa Liberacki lead the women's team in their bakers games giving them a series of 765.
