Stevens Duckling Program
One of the most exciting community-first initiatives started in 2007-08 was the Stevens Duckling Program, which launched on October 17, 2007, when the women's soccer and field hockey teams visited Wallace Primary School. The program, which targets student-athlete involvement with the three primary schools - Wallace, Calabro and Connors - in Hoboken, aims to teach children about college and its benefits as well as to impart basic knowledge about engineering, business and science.
