Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Fitness and Wellness office at Stevens Institute of Technology is to provide facilities and programs designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of the University students, faculty and staff members. Members are encouraged to participate in a variety of Group Exercise classes developed for all fitness levels. A wide range of classes are offered to motivate members to try a new or different type of work out. If members feel they want more of an individual work out, the Stevens Fitness Center is open seven days a week.
The Fitness Center opens Monday-Friday at 6am-10:30pm, Saturday 6am-9:30pm, and Sunday 12-10:30pm. The facility provides members with access to several different cardiovascular machines, free weights, and cable machines. The Fitness Center Reward Program entices members to work out by giving out prizes to those who reach cetain goals during each semester. Stevens Group Exercise Classes and Fitness Center give members the opportunity to achieve their personal fitness goals.
Active participation in both the Fitness Center and Group Exercise classes will help members to improve and maintain their overall fitness level, and quality of life. All members of the Stevens community are invited and encouraged to participate in any aspect of the program.
