Women’s Basketball Hires Ally and Prall as Recruiting Coordinators

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 3, 2012) – First-year head coach Megan Haughey announced the hiring of Hannah Ally (Phillipsburg, N.J.) and Stephanie Prall (Kinnelon, N.J.) as new recruiting coordinators for the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball program. Ally and Prall will travel to basketball events as representatives of Stevens and assist in the recruiting of potential student-athletes.
 
Prall comes to Stevens from The College of New Jersey, where she helped lead the Lions to the 2008 NCAA Division III Final Four as a guard. The 2011 graduate majored in health & exercise science and interned as a strength & conditioning coach at Princeton University. Currently, she is pursuing a masters degree in counseling at Montclair State University and is a research assistant at MSU's Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS).
 
Ally played her collegiate ball at Centenary College, where she became the sixth Cyclone to join the 1,000-point club. She also is Centenary's all-time leader in made free throws. A four-year member of the Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, Ally graduated in 2012 with a degree in business, marketing and history and is currently employed by the Chubb Insurance Corporation, a member of the S & P 500.
 
The Ducks will open the 2012-13 season at the Hunter College Tip-Off Tournament on November 16.
