Stevens enters the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 5 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, No. 12 in the D3Soccer.com poll and on a 15-match unbeaten streak. The Ducks have not surrendered a goal in their last seven games and have 12 shutouts to their credit this season. The team has given up the eighth-fewest goals of any team in the nation this season (0.47 per game).

Individually, junior goalkeeper Paul Killian (Ellicott City, Md.) been the headliner the Ducks, earning MVP honors at the Empire 8 Tournament and putting up the third-best save percentage in the NCAA this year at .902. Killian also has the sixth-best goals-against average in the country at 0.373 goals per match and has not been scored upon in his last 660 minutes of game time.

Offensively, senior Victor Daza (North Plainfield, N.J.) leads the Ducks in every category with 12 goals, seven assists, 31 points and four game-winning goals. Stevens averages just under two and a half goals per game.

This year marks Stevens' 12th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, and the team has now won nine consecutive conference titles.

Haverford College Fords (12-7)
The Haverford College men's soccer team posted a 6-3 record in Centennial Conference regular-season play to earn the third seed in the conference tournament. Noteworthy regular-season victories include a 3-1 victory over visiting Rowan University on October 2 – the first win over the Profs in program history - and a 3-0 victory over host and defending champion Dickinson College - ranked 20th at the time - on October 6. It was the Red Devils' lone conference loss of the season.

The third-seeded Fords pulled off a pair of 1-0 upsets in the conference tournament to claim the first Centennial title in program history. Junior Ford Bohrmann provided all the offense as he tallied the game-winning goals against Dickinson and tournament host Swarthmore in the closing minutes of the first half in each contest. Haverford was the only team able to shut out Swarthmore, ranked 10th at the time, this season.  All three of Bohrmann's goals this season have been game-winners. Junior goalie Andriy Mshanetskyy, named conference player of the week twice this season, made four saves to register his fifth and sixth shutouts in the biggest games of the year.

The Fords top the Centennial in shots (294) and have outscored their opponents 32-21 on the year. They hold a 10-1 record when scoring first in a game and have held 18 of their 19 opponents to two goals or less.

The line-up boasts three of the top-15 point producers in the conference in senior Matt Gorski (16), freshman Brady Seitz (16) and freshman Sam Yarosh (14).

Wesleyan University Cardinals (9-4-3)
The Cardinals are a defensive-minded squad, having yielded just nine goals in 16 games this season while scoring 20. Senior goalie Adam Purdy has started all 68 games during his career with a 40-17-11 record, a 0.69 GAA and a .846 save percentage with 31 shutouts, a Wesleyan career record. Purdy was a second-team all-NESCAC pick in 2011 after earning first-team honors and third-team NSCAA All-America recognition in 2009. Senior midfielder Rory O'Neill , who leads the Cardinals in scoring this year with five goals and an assist, was named a CoSIDA/Capital One District II academic All-American recently. Last year when he paced Wesleyan to an 11-3-3 mark with seven goals and two assists, O'Neill was named first-team all-NESCAC, first-team all-New England and a second-team NSCAA Division III All-American.

Wesleyan men's soccer is making its fifth trip to the NCAA Division III Championship, all within the last eight seasons. First qualifying in 2005 with an automatic berth as the NESCAC tournament champion, the Cardinals received at-large berths in 2006, 2009 and 2011 along with 2012. Wesleyan is 4-0 in first-round NCAA playoff games, having defeated Muhlenberg, 3-2 in overtime, in 2005; Baruch, 5-0, in 2006; St. Joseph's (Me.), 2-0, in 2009; and Misericordia, 1-0, last year. Wesleyan is 0-3-1 in second-round action, but got by Western New England on penalty kicks in 2009 to reach the round of 16. There, Wesleyan fell in overtime to Rochester, 2-1. Other losses came in the second round to Messiah, 2-1 in overtime in 2005; 1-0 to Montclair St. in 2006; and 2-1 to Rutgers-Camden in 2011.

Methodist University Monarchs (15-2-3)
The Methodist men's soccer team enters the NCAA Tournament at 15-2-3 and ranked 23rd the in the latest NSCAA poll. The Monarchs, seeded third, gained entry into the NCAA Tournament by virtue of its 1-0 win over fifth-seeded Greensboro in the USA South Championship game.

The Monarchs feature a pair of high-scoring forwards in junior Eric McGinnis and sophomore Eirik Nordseth, who are both tied for 16th in the NCAA in total points with 40. Nordseth, a first team all-conference selection and the conference tournament MVP, has a team-high 17 goals to go with six assists and McGinnis, a second team all-conference pick, has 15 goals and a team-leading 10 assists. Methodist has had 12 different players score at least one goal and have gotten six goals apiece from freshmen Mike Ilodigwe and Anders Petersen.

Defensively, Methodist is ranked 45th in the NCAA in goals-against average and senior goalkeeper Pat Hamel, also a second team all-conference honoree, has notched six shutouts on the year, including five in the last seven games as MU has yielded just four goals in its last 10 games. Senior defender Shane Davis, who was named to the USA South Second Team, sophomore defender Sean MacDonald and junior midfielder Miguel Flores, both honorable mention all-conference picks, have been vital in holding a back line that has allowed multiple goals on just three occasions this year.
