In the win over Chicago, Stevens won 7-of-10 bouts, with junior 149-pounder Mike Polizzi earning the lone major decision of the day for the Ducks.

Sophomore heavyweight Tyler Maher earned a win by forfeit to account for the Duck points against the 20th-ranked Division I team in the nation, Northwestern.

After a loss in the opening bout versus Chicago, Ryan Wilson evened the match at three apiece with a 12-5 decision at 133. Stevens dropped its match at 141 before Polizzi's major at 149 gave the Ducks a lead they would never give back. The junior tallied a 15-3 victory to make the score 7-6.
