HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 31, 2014) – Freshman
Lindsey Mahnken (Bayville, N.J.) of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team was named ECAC Division III Upstate Rookie of the Week earlier this week.
Mahnken claimed the honor after posting three saves in a 2-1 Empire 8 Conference victory over St. John Fisher College on October 25 that secured a spot for the Ducks in the upcoming Empire 8 Championship on November 7-8.
She was also recognized by the ECAC as Rookie of the Week on October 15 and September 10.
The Bayville, N.J. native has recorded 10 victories this season for Stevens in 990 minutes played. Mahnken boasts a 0.73 goals-against average and a .846 save percentage with four shutouts.
Stevens wraps up its regular season schedule on November 1 at Hartwick College. The match is set to kick off at 12 p.m.
