Women’s Soccer To Host NCAAs For Second-Straight Year

HOBOKEN, N.J. (November 7, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament this weekend off its thrilling overtime victory over Ithaca in the Empire 8 Championship.

The tournament appearance will be the ninth in program history for the Ducks, and second in-a-row after the team advanced to the Sweet 16 last November. Stevens will face Colby Sawyer in its first-round matchup Saturday at 5 p.m.

On the other side of the bracket, Middlebury will play MIT for the right to play either Stevens or Colby Sawyer in Sunday's second round at 5 p.m.

Stevens went 18-1-0 this fall en route to a second-straight E8 title.
