HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 2, 2017)  – Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer senior Raba Nassif was named a First Team All-American by D3Soccer.com Tuesday.

It is the first First Team All-America selection for the women's soccer program. Rassif was named a Second Team All-American in 2016 and Heather Dean and Siena York-Carr were named to the third team in 2006.

"Raba has been one of the most impactful attacking players in D-III soccer over the past four years," said head coach Jeff Parker. "We have to feel like it is a well-deserved honor for her and her teammates. Raba's leadership and work ethic rubs off on everyone, and by doing so, makes the program's environment a better place to be. We are looking forward to seeing many of those positive attributes in her returning teammates this spring and next season."

Nassif's honor closes an impressive senior season for the Northvale, New Jersey native. Starting all 21 games, Nassif scored 23 goals with 15 assists, tallying 61 points for the Ducks, who reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament. After helping guide Stevens to a 19-2 record, Nassif was named a Second Team All-American and First Team All-East Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American, making the high-scoring forward the first two-time All-American in program history and the fourth player to be compile three All-Region selections. She also earned ECAC Metro Offensive Player of the Year and Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year honors for the second straight season.
