Coach Aldins says: Curt made great strides this off-season and came back a much improved player. He has a chance to be our everyday catcher and is one of our hardest workers in the weight room. We are excited to see what he can do in 2012.

2011: appeared in six games and started 1...did not record a base hit in 2 at-bats...posted a .500 on base percentage thanks to two walks...recorded a walk in his only plate appearance vs. CCNY (3/20).

High School: earned Honor Society status…played for coach Rich Chini at Egg Harbor Township…played summer baseball for the Absecon franchise in the ACBL under coach John O’Cane…named All Conference both his junior and senior years…also played football at Egg Harbor.

Personal: son of Joseph and Denice Lowenstein…mother competed as a Division I gymnast at Boise State University…majoring in Civil Engineering…born 1/29/92…favorite aspects of Stevens are the proximity to New York City and the views of the city…top MLB team and player are the Philadelphia Phillies and Ken Griffey Jr….favorite book and movie are The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and Remember the Titans…enjoys playing racquetball in his spare time.
