Cross Country and Track and Field Programs Honored as National All-Academic Teams by USTFCCCA
NEW ORLEANS, La. – All six Stevens Institute of Technology track and field and cross country programs were honored by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Academic teams for the 2009-10 school year. The USTFCCCA announced both its team and individual awards this week, with Stevens fifth-year graduate student Salme Cook and freshman Maggie Kowalska named 2010 Division III Track & Field All-Academic Honorees. In addition to their success in the classroom, Cook and Kowalska were also the first two Stevens student-athletes in history to compete at the NCAA Championships this past season.
Three Top-10 Finishers for Men's Track at ECAC's
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s track team had a new school record set by Mohamed Abuouf, who placed third overall in the 55-meter hurdles with his time of 7.84 seconds. Kevin Morgera and the 4x800-meter relay team also placed high in the standings for the Ducks.

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (March 5, 2010) - The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s and women’s track teams are competing this weekend at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships held in Northampton, Massachusetts. Already, the Ducks have had some memorable performances from their athletes, with Mohamed Abuouf and the Stevens women’s distance medley relay turning in great times Friday.

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track team competed Sunday at the Seton Hall Games, and got standout performances from a runner, thrower, a hurdler and a pentathlete at the event.
4x800 Relay Team Turns in Great Finish for Men's Indoor Track
MANHATTAN – The Stevens Institute of Technology 4x800-meter relay team composed of Andrew Ballinger, Kevin Morgera, Zane Brylinsky and David DeWan qualified for the ECAC’s at the NYU Fastrack Meet on Friday. The team finished the race in 7:57.57, the second-best time in school history.
