Servito Records First Place Finish at Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – At the Springfield Invitational on February 4, the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track & field team finished sixth overall with 67.5 points out of nine competing institutions. Amherst College won the event with 134 team points.
Men's Indoor Track & Field Place Second at Empire 8 Championships
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track & field team finished second overall at the Empire 8 Conference Championships hosted by Ithaca College on January 28. The Ducks totaled 91 points, 11 ahead of Utica for second. Ithaca won the meet with 178 points.
Kraemer Earns His Second Athlete of the Week Nod for Men's Indoor T&F
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – For the third time this year, a Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track & field student-athlete was named Empire 8 Conference Athlete of the Week. This week’s honoree is junior Andrew Kraemer (Budd Lake, N.J.) who has earned this honor twice in the winter after his efforts at the Ducks’ meet at Wesleyan University on January 21.
Kraemer Takes First in Weight Throw, Diaz-Borda Sets Long Jump Mark
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – There was no team scoring at Wesleyan University on January 21, but the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track & field team put together a strong team performance in Connecticut. The Ducks placed four different individuals in the top-five in five separate events throughout the meet.
Men's Indoor Field Events Perform Well at Gotham Cup
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s indoor track & field team competed in the multi-divisional Gotham Cup hosted by New York University on Friday. Three Ducks placed in the top-20 in three separate field events. No team scoring was totaled.
