Coach Peluso and Staff Name Four Ducks Captains for 2012
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team begins their season on February 22, as the Ducks play host to United States Merchant Marine Academy at 7 p.m. at the DeBaun Athletic Complex. Stevens’ campaign is still a few weeks out, but Head Coach Gene Peluso (Branchburg, N.J.) and staff have announced the captains that will lead the Ducks into the 2012 spring.
Madalon Promoted to Men's Lacrosse Associate Head Coach
HOBOKEN, N.J. – On January 9, the Stevens Institute of Technology Director of Athletics Russell Rogers (Branchburg, N.J.) announced the promotion of Matt Madalon (Hoboken, N.J.) to Associate Head Coach of the men’s lacrosse program after spending the past four years as an assistant.
Championship Productions Highlights Peluso Videos
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse Head Coach Gene Peluso (Branchburg, N.J.) authored a set of instructional videos for game-like practice drills and techniques that have been featured in the latest Championship Productions newsletter. The set of three videos are also available for purchase on Championship Productions’ website as a three-pack or individually based on the desirability of the consumer.
Men's Lacrosse Ranked No.11 in InsideLacrosse.com Preseason Poll
HOBOKEN, N.J. – In the 2012 Face-Off Yearbook Division III Top 20 preseason rankings on InsideLacrosse.com released on December 5, the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team received the No. 11 spot in the country. Last season, the Ducks tied the school record in wins with 16, en route to a second round appearance in the NCAA Championship.
Men's Lacrosse to Host Alumni Game on Saturday
HOBOKEN, N.J. – On Saturday afternoon at the De Baun Athletic Complex on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology, the men’s lacrosse team will host its annual lacrosse Alumni Game at 1 p.m. Last season, the Ducks posted a 16-3 mark en route to a spot in the NCAA Division III Lacrosse Championship.
