Men's Lacrosse Drops Heartbreaker at SUNY Cortland, 10-9
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team dropped a hard fought NCAA Second Round Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship game to No. 2 SUNY Cortland, 10-9, on Saturday evening in Cortland, N.Y. With the loss, Stevens ends its season with a 17-3 record and the most wins in the program’s illustrious 127-year history.

HOBOKEN, N.J. – On Saturday at 7 p.m., the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team will battle with the No. 2 school in the country, SUNY Cortland in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship in Cortland, N.Y. The Ducks bring a 17-2 record into tomorrow’s showdown, the most victories in school history, while the Red Dragons will put their perfect mark, 18-0, on the line for a trip to the Quarterfinals on May 16.
Dorne's Goal in OT Lifts Men's Lacrosse over Springfield in 13-12 Thriller
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Junior midfielder Harrison Dorne (Morristown, N.J.) netted the game-winning goal 1:06 into overtime to propel the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team to a 13-12 victory over Springfield College in the NCAA Division III First Round matchup at the De Baun Athletic Complex on Wednesday evening. Stevens, ranked ninth nationally, set a new school record in victories with 17 in the overtime thriller and advances to the Second Round to take on No. 2 SUNY Cortland on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Peluso, Dupras Earn E8 Coach and Player of the Year Honors
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Fresh off the first-ever Empire 8 Conference title for the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team, head coach Gene Peluso and junior midfielder Rich Dupras (Hillsborough, N.J.) were named the Coach and Player of the Year in the Empire 8 on Tuesday. Stevens earned its first Empire 8 championship with wins over St. John Fisher College and Ithaca College last week, improving to 16-2 overall and earning an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Men's Lacrosse Draws Springfield in NCAA First Round
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The nationally ranked No. 9 Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team fresh off its first-ever Empire 8 Conference title will play Springfield College in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Championship on Wednesday in Hoboken at 7 p.m. Stevens and Springfield squared off earlier this season on Castle Point and the Ducks came away with an 11-5 victory on March 4 and held the Pride to just one goal in the second half.
