Men's Soccer Welcomes Class of 2016
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer program has announced the members of its recruiting class who will join the team in the Fall of 2012 for the Ducks’ Empire 8 title defense and what the team hopes will be yet another deep run in the NCAA Championship. Eight freshmen will enroll at Castle Point in September as the newest Ducks in the flock.
Men's Soccer Alumni Game: Saturday, April 14
HOBOKEN, N.J. –The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer program will be hosting its annual alumni game this Saturday, April 14 at 5 p.m. Following the match, there will pizza and refreshments served in the Schaefer Center lobby and a chance for former lettermen to meet the current Ducks.
Men's Soccer to Host 7 v 7 Fundraiser on April 29
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer program will host its annual seven-on-seven co-ed soccer tournament at the DeBaun Athletic Complex on April 29. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games, and the entrance fee is $300. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Stevens men’s soccer program.
Men's Soccer Ranked No. 5 / No. 6 in Final 2011 Polls
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – After posting an 18-3-1 record and advancing to the Sectional Final of the 2011 NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship, the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer team finished the 2011 season ranked No. 5 in the D3Soccer.com Poll and No. 6 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll. It was the team’s highest ranking since finishing No. 2 at the end of the 2008 season and marks the ninth-straight year the Ducks have ended the season in the national polls.
Zach Adler Named First-Team All-American
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – 2011 Empire 8 Player of the Year Zach Adler (McKinney, Texas) of the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s soccer team was named a First-Team All-American by D3Soccer.com this past week. The junior midfielder finished the season ranked No. 11 in the country with 11 assists, and led the Empire 8 Conference with 29 points in 2011.
