Fuller Named Empire 8 Women's Basketball Player Of The Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior co-captain Brittany Fuller captured her second Empire 8 women’s basketball Player of the Week award of the season after helping the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team avenge an earlier loss to Utica College with a hard-fought, 67-64, victory over the second-place Pioneers at Canavan Arena in Hoboken, N.J.
Women's Basketball Downs Second-Place Utica; Ducks Improve to 9-3 in Empire 8
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Senior forward Brittany Fuller scored a team-high 25 points to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team to a huge, 67-64, Empire 8 win over rival Utica College on Friday night at the Canavan Arena in Hoboken, N.J. Sophomore guard Kathleen Schuckers scored 15 points and senior forward Victoria O’Connor pulled down a game-high 16 rebounds and tallied six blocks for the Ducks who improve to 9-3 in the Empire 8 and 12-8 overall. Utica drops to 15-4 on the season and 8-2 in the conference.
Fuller Leads Women's Basketball To Win Over Nazareth
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Led by senior co-captain Brittany Fuller’s game-high 16 points, the Stevens Institute of Technology rebounded from last night’s disappointing last-minute loss to St. John Fisher College with a 58-44 triumph over Empire 8 rival Nazareth College. The Ducks are now 11-8 on the season with an 8-3 mark against conference opponents, while the Golden Flyers fell to 9-11 on the year and 3-8 in league play.
Women's Basketball Falls To St. John Fisher At The Buzzer
PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Despite a team-high 13 points from senior co-captain Brittany Fuller the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team dropped a close, hard-fought battle with Empire 8 rival St. John Fisher College, falling to the Cardinals, 49-48, at the Manning and Napier Varsity Gym in Pittsford, N.Y. The Ducks are now 10-8 on the season with a 7-3 league ledger, while Fisher moved to 11-8 on the year with a 6-5 mark against conference opponents.
Stevens Basketball Squads Set for Visit to St. John Fisher
PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men’s and women’s basketball teams will square off with St. John Fisher College in a conference doubleheader on Friday night at Manning and Napier Varsity Gym in Pittsford, N.Y. Both the Stevens men and women will be jockeying for position in the Empire 8 standings. The women’s tip is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the men will begin at 8 p.m.
