Fecteau Named Women's Basketball Head Coach
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Stevens Institute of Technology Director of Athletics Russell Rogers recently announced the hiring of Bri Fecteau as head women’s basketball coach. Fecteau, the fifth head coach in the program’s 24-year history, inherits a Ducks squad that has amassed a 65-23 record since joining the Empire 8 in the fall of 2007. The Westport, Maine native joins Stevens after a successful seven-year stint as an assistant coach at Harvard University.
Fuller Earns All-Met Writers Second-Team Honor
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Senior co-captain Brittany Fuller recently added another honor to a growing list of postseason accolades after being named to the All-Met Division III Women’s Basketball second-team by the National Invitation Tournament and the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. Fuller, who helped the Ducks to an 18-11 record and an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Metro Division championship game berth, has also received Empire 8 and ECAC Upstate first-team honors and D3hoops.com All-East Region second-team recognition.

Women's Basketball Drops ECAC Metro Championship Game To NYU, 54-51
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Despite matching a season-high with 15 points, sophomore guard Kathleen Schuckers and the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team fell to visiting New York University, 54-51, in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Metro Division III Women’s Basketball Championship game at Canavan Arena in Hoboken, N.J. The Ducks wrap up their 2009-10 campaign with an 18-11 overall record, while the Violets end their season on a bright note, having won three-straight to up their season mark to 16-12.
Garcia Leads Women's Basketball To ECAC Metro Semifinal Win Over Brooklyn
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Sophomore guard Dawn Garcia netted a game-high 14 points to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team past Brooklyn College in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Metro Championship semifinal at Canavan Arena in Hoboken, N.J. Stevens, now 18-10 on the season, advances to the championship game slated for Sunday, March 7, while the Bulldogs finish the season 17-11. The Ducks will face sixth-seeded New York University, which defeated seventh-seeded Drew University, 64-54, in the day’s other semifinal matchup.
