Equestrian Concludes 2009-10 Season At Regional Championship Show
READINGTON, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology equestrian team concluded its 2009-10 season at the Regional Championship Show on Friday at Briarwood Farm in Readington, N.J. In order to move on to the Zone Championship Show, a rider has to finish in the top three in a class, but unfortunately none of the Ducks were able to do so. Stevens did however receive call backs to the championship round in five of the six classes it competed in.
Stevens Places Seventh at Bard College and Pace University Show
READINGTON, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology equestrian team finished tied for seventh place at the Bard College and Pace University Show on Sunday in Readington, N.J. at Briarwood Farm. Stevens earned 18 team points and was knotted with Marist College. Centenary College won the event with 47 points as Pace and SUNY New Paltz finished tied for second with 36 team points. The United States Military Academy was fourth, William Paterson University was fifth, and Drew was sixth.
Equestrian Takes Fifth in First Show of Spring Semester
READINGTON, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology equestrian team placed fifth at the William Paterson University Show on Sunday at Briarwood Farm. The Ducks finished with a team total of 24 points, while the United States Military Academy and Drew University tied for first place with 36 points. Centenary College and William Paterson finished in third and fourth, respectively.
Olsen, Fishbein Lead Equestrian to Seventh-Place Finish at SUNY New Paltz Show
READINGTON, N.J. – Seniors Kahri Olsen and Jamie Fishbein each tallied seven team points as the Stevens Institute of Technology equestrian team took seventh at the SUNY Paltz Show. The Ducks earned 19 team points as the Hawks won their own event with a total of 38. Centenary College placed second (37), William Paterson University was third (35), and the United States Military Academy took fourth.
Parriott, Fishbein, Cederroth Lead Equestrian to Fifth-Place Finish at Stevens Show
LONG VALLEY, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology equestrian team placed fifth at the annual Stevens Horse Show at the Centenary College Equestrian Center in Long Valley, N.J. The Ducks finished with a team total of 22 as Centenary placed first with 44 team points. Stevens was led by junior Angela Parriott, senior Jamie Fishbein, and sophomore Julia Cederroth who all carded second-place finishes in their respective classes.
