Women's Indoor T&F Finishes Seventh at Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s indoor track & field team competed at the Springfield Invitational on February 4 and finished seventh out of nine teams with 23 points. The host Pride won the meet with 175 team points.
Freed, Duran Set School Records at Empire 8 Championships
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s indoor track & field team finished third at the Empire 8 Conference Championships hosted by Ithaca College on January 28. Stevens totaled 39 points, while the Bombers compiled 253 to win the meet.
Women's Indoor Track & Field Strong in Field Events Once Again
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s indoor track & field team took part in the non-scoring event hosted by Wesleyan University on January 21 in Middletown, Conn. Three members of the squad recorded top-10 finishes in four different field events.
Princiotta Breaks 3K Record, Tylock Ties Pole Vault Mark
NEW YORK, N.Y. – At the NYC Gotham Cup hosted by New York University, sophomore Ashley Princiotta (Manalapan, N.J.) set a new school record in the 3,000-meter run for the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s indoor track & field team. Fellow sophomore Rebecca Tylock (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tied a program mark in the pole vault. There was no team scoring in the multi-divisional event.
Dardir Named Empire 8 Athlete of the Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Empire 8 Conference has named Stevens Institute of Technology’s women’s indoor track & field freshman Amira Dardir (Jersey City, N.J.) this week’s Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Crowell Invitational at West Point, N.Y. on January 6 and 7.
