Wasserman Tabbed as WomensLacrosse.com Division III Rookie of the Week
HOBOKEN, N.J. – On Monday afternoon, WomensLacrosse.com announced its week-end honorees, and Stevens Institute of Technology freshman attacker Leah Wasserman was chosen by the committee as the Division III Rookie of the Week. This past weekend, Wasserman helped the Ducks to the ECAC Division III Metro-South Championship after recording a team-high 18 points on 13 goals and five assists in two games.

HOBOKEN, N.J. – Freshman attacker Leah Wasserman had another career performance on Saturday afternoon as she tied the school record for most points in a single game with 10 on eight goals and two assists to lift the second-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology women’s lacrosse team to its first-ever ECAC Division III Metro-South Championship with a 22-16 decision against top-seeded Dickinson College at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J. With the win, the Ducks ended off the year with a 14-6 record. As for the Red Devils, they dropped to a final ledger of 12-6.
Wasserman Amasses Season-High Eight Points as Women's Lacrosse Tramples Cabrini, 20-6, in ECAC Semifinals
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Freshman attacker Leah Wasserman totaled a season-high eight points off of a game-high five goals and three assists on Saturday afternoon to lead the second-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology women’s lacrosse team to a 20-6 win against No. 3 seed Cabrini College in the semifinal round of the ECAC Division III Metro-South Championship at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J. With the decision, the Ducks improved to 13-6 overall. As for the Cavaliers, they ended the year at 13-6.
Women's Lacrosse Claims No. 2 Seed for ECAC Metro-South Championship; Will Host Semifinals and Final This Weekend
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced the pairings for the 2008 Metro-South Women’s Lacrosse Championship, and Stevens Institute of Technology earned the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye for the tournament. The conference also decided that Stevens will host the two semifinal contests and the title game this weekend at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J.
Smith Registers Hat Trick as No. 20 Women's Lacrosse Falls to No. 2 TCNJ, 11-8, in Regular-Season Finale
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Freshman midfielder Christine Smith earned three goals off of five shots on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough as the 20th-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology women’s lacrosse team lost in its regular-season finale to second-ranked The College of New Jersey by an 11-8 final at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J. With the defeat, the Ducks fell to 12-6 overall. As for the Lions, they improved to 15-1 on the year.
