Six Student-Athletes Named To The Empire 8 Women's Soccer All-Conference Team
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Six Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer student-athletes were named to the Empire 8 women’s soccer all-conference teams announced by the league office earlier today. Junior midfielder Mary Chew, sophomore forward Kathleen Schuckers, and freshman back Paige Allen all earned second-team all-conference honors, while senior midfielder Katelyn Stewart, junior back Alexandra Lyons, and sophomore goalkeeper Kaitlin McClymont captured all-league honorable mention accolades.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer sophomore goalkeeper Kaitlin McClymont was named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 17 saves in the Ducks’ 1-0 loss to nationally ranked No. 22 Ithaca College in the Empire 8 tournament semifinals. The Ducks wrapped up their season with a 6-12-0 overall record.

ITHACA, N.Y. - Sophomore goalkeeper Kaitlin McClymont made a career-high 17 saves, but the fourth-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team fell to Empire 8 tournament host Ithaca College, 1-0, at Carp Wood Field in Ithaca, N.Y. This marks the second-straight season in which the Bombers have downed the Ducks in the tournament semifinals. Stevens concludes its 2009 season with a 6-12 overall record, while nationall ranked No. 22 Ithaca moves to 13-4-1 on the year.
Women's Soccer To Face Ithaca In Empire 8 Semifinals
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The fourth-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team will make its ninth consecutive postseason appearance under tenth-year head coach Jeff Parker when it squares off against top-seeded Ithaca College in an Empire 8 women’s soccer semifinal match on Saturday, November 7. Kick-off is set for 11:30 a.m. on Carp Wood Field in Ithaca, N.Y. Second-seeded Nazareth College will meet third-seeded St. John Fisher College in the day’s other semifinal.
Schuckers Nets Two Goals To Lead Women's Soccer Past Nazareth On Senior Day
HOBOKEN, N.J. – Sophomore forward Kathleen Schuckers netted a pair of goals to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team past Nazareth College, 3-0, in its regular season finale at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J. Senior Katelyn Stewart, who was honored along with fellow seniors Hillary Paul and Sherri Rosenberg in a pregame ceremony as part of the Ducks’ Senior Day festivities, netted her first goal of the 2009 campaign in the win.
