Come to Giovanni's and Support Women's Soccer and Their Efforts for Paraguay Trip
HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team will be hosting a night out at Giovanni’s Pizza & Restaurant in efforts to generate proceeds for a trip to Tobati, Paraguay. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 7, from 5 to 9 p.m.
McClymont Receives National Girls & Women in Sports Day Award
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – On January 22 at Seton Hall University, senior student-athlete Kaitlin McClymont (Corpus Christi, Texas) of the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team was named Stevens’ recipient for the National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) award. The event was sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.
McClymont, Lehman Land on NSCAA All-East Scholar Team
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced their Women’s College Scholar All-East Team earlier this week and two Stevens Institute of Technology student-athletes were named to the third-team. Senior co-captains Kaitlin McClymont (Corpus Christi, Texas) and Sarah Lehman (Gilbert, Ariz.) both earned a spot on the third-team after successful seasons on and off the field.
ECAC Names Heine Upstate Rookie of the Year; Three Others Earned Second-Team Honors
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Stevens Institute of Technology’s freshman forward Ann Heine (Sammamish, Wash.) earned her second rookie of the year honor of the year after the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) released its Division III Upstate Women’s Soccer All-Stars on December 21. Earlier this season, Heine was named Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year for her role in the Ducks’ regular and postseason conference championship.
Four Women's Soccer Players Named NSCAA All-East Region
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its NCAA Division III All-East Region team and four members of the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer squad landed on one of the three teams released on December 11. Stevens garnered the second most student-athletes on the team, while national semifinalist, William Smith College placed six.
