Women's Swimming Ends Dual-Meet Season with win Over SUNY New Paltz
NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Stevens Institute of Technology women's swimming team improved to 5-2 on the season with a 116-89 win at SUNY New Paltz on Saturday afternoon in New Paltz, N.Y. The Ducks won six events on the afternoon as freshman Marissa Douglas and junior Laura Barito each took the top spot in two events for Stevens.

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Junior standout Laura Barito was named the Empire 8 Women’s Swimmer of the Week on Monday afternoon after she led the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s swimming team in a victory over Rowan University on Saturday evening at the De Baun Aquatic Center. Barito won three individual events and was also part of a winning relay in the Ducks’ 177-85 win.

Women's Swimming Rolls Over Rowan on Senior Day
HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s swimming team cruised to an easy, 177-85, victory over Rowan University in a dual-meet on Saturday afternoon at the De Baun Aquatic Center in Hoboken, N.J. The Ducks won 12 of the 14 events swam as junior Laura Barito led the team with three individual first-place finishes and an NCAA B-cut in the 50-yard freestyle. Freshman Marissa Douglas also had a huge day, winning three individual events and taking part in one winning relay.
Barito Named Swimmer of the Meet as Women's Swimming Places Second at ECAC Championships
EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s swimming team placed second at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, and junior team member Laura Barito was named the Swimmer of the Meet for her outstanding overall performance. SUNY Geneseo won the 13-team event with 1,737 points as the Ducks were close behind with 1,643. Barito scored a meet-best 123 individual points over the course of the three days. Freshman Marissa Douglas (121) and sophomore Sian Pearson (118) were second and third in individual point scoring.
