Women's Tennis Cracks ITA Top-20 for First Time in School History
SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s tennis team broke into the Top-20 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Northeast Regional Rankings for the first time in school history after their 11-1 Fall season and Empire 8 regular season championship. In addition, freshman Jessica Bourque (Houma, La.) is ranked No. 17 among all singles players in the region.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman Jessica Bourque (Houma, La.) of the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s tennis team swept both the Empire 8 Player and Rookie of the Year awards announced by the league on Thursday. Bourque headlined six Stevens all-conference selections after the Ducks ran the table during the 2011 Empire 8 regular season.

With the teams tied at four wins apiece, Becky Guzzo’s three-set third singles victory delivered the championship for the Bombers.
Women's Tennis Rolls Over Fisher to Advance to Sunday's E8 Finals
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s tennis team defeated St. John Fisher College 5-1 on Saturday at the United States Military Academy to secure a spot in the 2011 Empire 8 Championship match on Sunday against six-time defending champion Ithaca College.Freshmen Danielle Stewart and Jessica Bourque won at both singles and doubles to lead the Ducks.
Women's Tennis to Host Empire 8 Tournament This Weekend at West Point
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team will be the No. 1 seed as it hosts the Empire 8 Tournament from October 22-23 at the Malek Courts and Lichtenberg Tennis Center on the campus of the United States Military Academy. The Ducks enter the postseason undefeated with a 10-0 record.
