The department now relies on your individual contributions to guarantee continued success and improvement for our scholar-athletes and varsity programs.
Stevens Athletics has been named the 2008 ECAC Jostens Institution of the Year. This prestigious honor is the result of collaborative efforts of our scholar-athletes, Varsity S members and Cardinal and Grey Club. ECAC 2008 Jostens Institution of the Year
The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) named Stevens the 2008 Jostens Institution of the Year. The award recognizes an institution’s academic and athletic success. Stevens’ recent .677 annual winning percentage, NCAA national appearances, ECAC Championships and string of Academic All-Americans clearly distinguished the Ducks from all ECAC institutions.
Successful and Future Projects.
The Stevens athletic program’s success coincides with several transformational projects funded by Alumni and Family support. These projects include, but are by no means limited to:
De Baun Athletic Complex converts to turf and adds new scoreboard (2001)
Walker Gym undergoes extensive renovation (2005)
Baseball Bleachers (2005), scoreboard (2006) and dugouts (2007) added to Dobbelaar Field
New Field Turf synthetic surface installed on the De Baun Athletic Complex (2007)
Future contributions will help Stevens fund:
* Multi-sport field house designed for varsity competition and recreation
* Schaefer Center expansion, including team rooms and sports medicine facilities

Named for an historical organization at Stevens, the Varsity S Club is the best way for Varsity Alumni to support their team and Stevens Athletics. Cardinal and Gray Parents' Club
The Cardinal and Gray is how parents contribute to the enhancement our scholar-athletes’ experience at Stevens. Contributions to the Cardinal and Gray allow Stevens teams to purchase equipment and the Athletic Department to build and improve facilities. Additionally the Cardinal and Gray directly funds international trips for the teams. Most recently Field Hockey and Men’s Volleyball respectively traveled to Argentina and Switzerland for competition funded largely by the Cardinal and Gray. Ensure that your scholar-athlete has the best possible experience at Stevens by becoming a Cardinal or Gray member.
